 
Jane Bollman’s career
spans from teaching art in Baltimore County schools to directing financial
aid programs for Goucher College and Johns Hopkins University. She
is a member of the Working Artists Forum and has had numerous shows
locally. Jane works with oils and does faux finished furniture and
walls on commission.
 
Joanne Boughner is an award-winning artist whose
bright, colorful canvases reflect humorous and quiet moments of people,
places, work and play. Today she is inspired by familiar scenes as she
bicycles around Oxford, boats on the Tred Avon and travels along the
Eastern Shore.
 
Dian Breza, a graduate from Fashion Institute
of Technology in NY, was a Fashion Designer in New York and Paris for
12 years, and a Jewelry Designer in London for 7 years. She’s
been an art instructor for children at the Academy Art Museum since
moving to Easton.
 
Helen Cardiff grew up in a family of artists
in Talbot County and the maritime provinces of Canada. Her goal is
to continually motivate herself to expand her artistic ability. She
has been teaching children’s
art classes at Academy Art Museum for six years.
 
Katie Cassidy has worked full time as an artist
since moving to Easton. In addition to teaching at the Academy Art Museum
and Dorchester Art Center, she enjoys success as a portrait artist.
 
Will Cook is a native Marylander and recent convert to the Eastern Shore.
Since his retirement, Will and his wife Barbara divide their time between
Columbia and Royal Oak. Will's artistic interests include photography
and silk screen printing, although he spends much of his time painting
Talbot County landscapes. He is a member of the St. Michaels Art League.
 
Dudley Davis had a forty year career in Business and Marketing where
he made extensive use of his background in illustration. After, Dudley
retired to the shore where he paints a wide variety of landscapes and
other local subject. Dudley accepts commission assignments for paintings
of homes, boats and pets in acrylic and watercolor.
 
Richard A. K. Dorbin credits his visual roots to
growing up in Santa Fe, NM and experiencing the work of Paul Strand,
Elliott Porter and George Tice at important times in his life. His work
has been published in several books. He works throughout the Mid-Atlantic
region, producing an eclectic body of work, including portrait, food,
corporate, editorial, product, and architectural photography.
 
Rose E. W. Doster attended Maryland Institute College
of Art. She works in all mediums and paints whatever she feels like at
the moment. When Rose sees a scene that speaks to her, she intuitively
knows what medium to use.
 
Madeline Eli is a resident of the Easton
area and member of the Working Artists’ Forum; she has studied
with renowned artists and has won awards for her work locally and in
Connecticut.
 
Bill Elliott has been painting full-time since
1991, but started painting in l956. He works mainly in oils and acrylics
and concentrates on nautical scenes, landscapes, and still life. He is
a member of the Friday Morning Artists and Talbot County Visual Artists.
His banner represents two of Bill's favorite paintings.
 
Laura Era was raised on the Eastern Shore, and
has been an artist since birth. She has taken workshops from Daniel Greene,
Burton Silverman, and Raoul Middleman. She has painted hundreds of portraits
on commission in pastel and oils and teaches classes and workshops and
is co-owner of Troika Gallery Fine Art Studio.
 
Patty Fisher – “Since I was a
very young girl, I have been painting in some manner or form. I believe
one is gifted with this talent, and have pursued my painting ever since.
It was about 15 years ago that I finally started marketing my art,
now being both comfortable with my style and a desire for perfection
in my paintings.”
 
Cliff Fleenor and wife Harriett are seventeen year
residents of Easton coming from the mid Ohio Valley where he studied
with Philip Hodge, Dorothy Decker, Tony Couch, and other well known art
instructors. Cliff enjoys watercolors, oil and pastel portrait commissions
and teaches beginning and intermediate watercolor and oil painting in
his Oxford Road studio.
 
Ann Ford has been painting professionally for thirty years. She graduated
from Georgetown Junior College in D.C. and studied art at theAcademy
Art Museum and in workshops throughout the U.S. She taught art in Raleigh,
N.C., where she lived for twenty years and now resides with her husband
in Easton.

Jeremy Joseph is originally from Connecticut
and has lived in Easton since 2000. He graduated from the University
of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor’s of Fine Art
in 1994. He earned a teaching certificate in art education from Southern
Connecticut State University. He is currently in his sixth year teaching
at Easton Elementary School.
 
Linda Kirvan attended Dunbarton College in Washington,
DC. She has studied art and design at American University, Mount Vernon
College, Montgomery College, The Art League, and The Yellow Barn Studio.
She has worked in watercolor, oil, and various types of printmaking.
 
Kathy Kopec moved here 6 yrs. ago from the Jersey
Shore and works as an O.R. nurse at Memorial Hospital in Easton. She
has found Talbot Co. the perfect place to pursue a lifelong desire to
paint. Kathy currently paints in oils and has taken a workshop with Ed
Cooper and attended several demos by local artists who are truly inspirational
to her quest to become a better artist.
 
Ken Lehman attended the Maryland Institute, College
of Art. Ken feels most comfortable painting from nature. Currently, Ken
is represented on the Eastern Shore exclusively by Troika Gallery in
Easton.
 
Diane Laukenmann paints in watercolors, pastels,
and oils. She is a member of the Working Artist Forum (WAF), the Friday
Morning Artists, and the Plein Air Painters of the Eastern Shore (PAPES),
as well as many art leagues. For Diane, art is a joy and adventure.
 
Joanne Magruder came to Easton from Montgomery
County, Maryland. She works primarily in watercolor, mixed water media,
and monoprints. In addition to still life, pastoral scenes, and abstracts,
Joanne also specializes in paintings with children’s themes.
 
Wallace A. McGarry’s career was focused
in the advertising world in New York City and Los Angeles. He studied
for six years at Chounard's Art Institute in L.A. Now he is an active
member of many local art groups in Easton, St. Michaels and Cambridge.
 
Robert Manning, “Eastern Shore farms have become a primary subject
of my watercolor and acrylic wash landscape paintings. As an artist and
graphic designer, I find the constantly changing play of light on the
bins, barns, towers and feeders an endless source of visual excitement.
And every season is a new adventure!”
 
Diane DuBois Mullaly is an award winning painter
of miniatures in oil, a devoted plein air painter, and works part-time
for South Street Art Gallery where she is also a gallery artist. She
seeks magical moments - some dramatic, some serene, to capture in paint.
 
Dorothy Newland is co-owner of The Troika
Gallery Fine Art Studio in Easton. She works mainly in oil paint. “Her
bold and vigorous images have demanded numerous awards in wider and
wider areas.” She
attended the Pennsylvania University of Art and the Maryland Institute
College of Art. She has studied extensively with master painters and
in intensive workshops throughout the east coast.
 
Patrick Rogan has exhibited paintings in group
and solo exhibitions in the DC area including the Anton gallery, George
Mason University and Signal 66. As an exhibition planner, Rogan collaborates
with cultural institutions nationwide to bring American history, art
and science to the public. He received an MFA in Painting from Catholic
University and has taught visual art on the adjunct faculty of Marymount
University and George Washington University.
 
Maggii Sarfaty is a muralist and decorative painter;
she was trained at Maryland Institute College of Art. She lives in Easton
with her husband, Chef Dave Sarfaty and 3 children, and delights area
residents and designers with her murals.
 
Jeanne Saulsbury is a true native of the
Eastern Shore and resides with her husband in Ridgely. As a child,
she studied with Nance Hall Asher in Denton and pursued drawing in
college. Upon returning to Caroline County, Jeanne has studied with
numerous prominent local artists with emphasis in watercolor. Currently,
she is Vice-President of the Working Artists’ Forum.
 
Willie Schlossach resides in Easton and has been
exhibited at the Oxford Fine Arts Festival and in a variety of places
in Talbot and Anne Arundel Counties. His focus in painting is the fundamental
nature and mood of the world around him.
 
Sheryl Southwick lives in Trappe and was the administrator
to the Academy Art Museum from 1987 to 1990. She teaches art to children
and adults. She was the owner of Gourmet Gallery where local artists
were shown on a regular basis.
 
Nancy Tankersley and her husband are the owners
of the South Street Art Gallery, where she has a studio on the second
floor. Her love of the Chesapeake Bay area is evident in many of her
landscapes. She likes to paint both in and out of her studio and feels
that it is important to paint from life as much as possible.
 
Katie Theeke studied painting and photography at
the University of Michigan and SACI School of Art. Though she has dabbled
in many art forms over the years, she spends most of her creative time
painting in acrylics and oils. She has taught both digital art and fine
art to high school students at the Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland.
She currently resides in historic Easton with her husband, Adam and son,
Finnegan.
 
Bill U’Ren, amateur artist, has taken
art classes at the Academy Art Museum, Easton; Dorchester Art Center,
Cambridge; the Mendocino and Redwood City Art Centers in California
and attended summer sessions at the Schuler School of Fine Art in Baltimore.
 
Jennifer Heyd Wharton has earned recognition as one of the
best known artists in Maryland, and through her unique perspective in
color and texture, she is rapidly gaining attention throughout the U.S.
She graduated from Moore College of Art and co-owns Troika Gallery Fine
Art Studio in Easton.
 
Karen Wood is an oil painter who works primarily plein air. Moving to
Talbot County after receiving a Fine Arts degree for the University of
Maryland under Herman Maril, she met and painted with W. Carmen Davis
discovering the joy of painting on site. She has been a Plein Air-Easton!
Festival artist for two years.
 
Bill Younger “Painting, and, enjoying what comes with it, is my
happy ‘Second Career’. My subject choices vary, and include
land and seascapes; critters; and other ‘stuff’, where shapes,
light and color trigger the possibility of capturing a ‘memory’,
a unique perspective, or an exciting interpretation of everyday sight
